Remote Controlled Snow Plow (Video)

Imagine plowing a yard of snow in a short sleeve t-shirt with out ever stepping a foot outside. That’s what one RC hobbyist was able to do when he built this cool remote controlled big rig snow plow.

The mini snow plow was built by Aaron Bidochka and his team over at RCSparks.com. It took over 3 months to build and roughly $6000, and was made from miscellaneous parts as there was nothing like this around so the team had to come up with one from scratch.

Don’t let the size fool you, this thing is heavy duty. It weighs over 20 pounds and judging by the video does a damn good job cleaning up the snow in the yard.

Real cool, I know, unfortunately it’s not for sale and there is nothing else like it around.

For those who aren’t hip, Bill took a $500 piece o’ crap he bought off Craigslist and entered the Mexico leg of the World Rally Championship. With an untested crapmobile and no pit crew he went up against cars costing up to 1,000 times as much. By finding a loophole in the regulations, Bill also managed a way to slip into Rally America last year. He may not have a fancy AWD hatch with $300K worth of development and thousands of hours of test time but he’s got a sexy new crew to work on his Beemer as he gets ready to compete in 2014. Hachiko - The True Story of a Loyal Dog

Hachiko was a real dog, he belonged to a Tokyo University professor named Eisaburo Ueno in the 1920’s. Hachiko is remembered for his remarkable loyalty to his owner, even many years after his owner's death. In 1924, Hidesaburo Ueno, a professor in the agriculture department at the University of Tokyo, took in Hachiko, a golden brown Akita, as a pet. During his owner's life, Hachiko greeted him at the end of each day at the nearby Shibuya Station. The pair continued their daily routine until May 1925, when Professor Ueno did not return. The professor had suffered from a cerebral hemorrhage and died, never returning to the train station where Hachiko was waiting. Every day for the next nine years the dog waited at Shibuya station.
Hachiko attracted the attention of other commuters. They brought Hachiko treats and food to nourish him during his wait. This continued for nine years with Hachiko appearing precisely when the train was due at the station until he died on March 8, 1935. In April 1934, a bronze statue in his likeness was erected at Shibuya Station, and Hachiko himself was present at its unveiling. The statue was recycled for the war effort during World War II. The new statue, which was erected in August 1948, still stands and is an extremely popular meeting spot.
Each year on April 8, Hachiko's devotion is honored with a solemn ceremony of remembrance at Tokyo's Shibuya railroad station. Hundreds of dog lovers often turn out to honor his memory and loyalty

World Largest Dodge Power Wagon

Sheikh Hamad Bin Hamdan Al-Nahyan, also known as the ‘Rainbow Sheikh’, due to the fact that he once bought a fleet of Mercedes every colour of the rainbow as a wedding present. Decided that he would like to celebrate the desert, by building a very special caravan.
On this occasion the Rainbow Sheik chose to honor the pioneers of the oil boom – and show his passion for classic dune-bashing four wheel drives – by building the most incredible replica of a 1950s Dodge Power Wagon, only eight times the size of the real thing.
Built over a period of months, the scale of the construction was limited only by the size of the wheels that the Sheik could get, which apparently were used on a machine for transporting oil rigs.
The truck is built around a metal frame more reminiscent of static plant, rather than anything mobile. This is emphasized by a flight of stairs leading up to the ‘front door. The Truck houses just about everything needed for comfortable living, including four large, air conditioned bedrooms (The air-con units are visible behind the false radiator grille) as well as a living room,
bathrooms and even a patio in the pick-up bed.

The most impressive limo is the American dream, with a length of 30.48 meters and weight of 10 tons. This limo is a functional vehicle that can be rent.
